Consequence of Defect

the fuel return hose is of insufficient length and can detach from the fuel pump. consequence of defect: this could result in an engine compartment fire.

Recall Notes

replace the fuel return hose with a longer one.

buzzer was not installed to remind driver to remove the ignition key when leaving the vehicle. this does not meet the requirements of federal motor vehicle safety standard 114, "theft protection".

the steering lock assembly and a buzzer will be installed.
