2008 Porsche CayenneComponentFuel System, Gasoline:Delivery:Hoses, Lines/Piping, And Fittings Consequence of Defectporsche is recalling 5,573 my 2008 cayenne v6 vehicles. a fuel line in the plenum panel area may contact the rear engine compartment cover. relative movements of the engine while driving may cause knocking noises and chafing on the fuel line. a fuel leak may develop. Corrective Actionfuel leakage in the presence of an ignition source could result in a fire. Corrective Actionwhen involved in a crash, the child restraints may not be properly secured increasing the risk of injury or death to the seat occupant. Corrective Actioncontinued operation of the vehicle could result in a fracture of the transfer case housing. incorrect torque would then be applied to the driven wheels or oil could leak and contact the tires.
