Consequence of Defect

the exhaust gas recirculation manifold core plugs may become displaced resulting in a loss of engine vacuum and subsequent stalling. this would produce immediate erratic engine operation and subsequent loss of power brakes and power steering assist.

dealer will install a modified core plug device at no cost to owner.
