Consequence of Defect

on the involved vehicles there is a possibility that, if involved in a collision, the rider could impact the hinged fuel filler cap in such a manner as to actuate the release lever and open the cap. this would result in a gasoline leak.

dealer will replace the original fuel filler cap latch with a locking device, without charge.
