Suspension:Front:Springs:Leaf Spring Assembly:U-Bolt, Leaf Spring To Axle

Consequence of Defect

the involved vehicles may have been assembled with improperly manufactured front spring u-bolts used to secure the front axle assembly to the spring. the four u-bolts may experience cracks and could ultimately break. should two u-bolts on the same side of the vehicle break, the front axle would not be retained securely.

Corrective Action

all suspect u-bolts will be replaced by the dealer, free of charge.
