Consequence of Defect

the electric motor which drives the anti-lock brake system (abs) hydraulic pump does not function after a period of operation.

Corrective Action

loss of brake boost will result increasing the risk of a vehicle crash.

Recall Notes

dealers will inspect and, if necessary, replace the abs hydraulic pump electric motor.
