Consequence of Defect

vehicle description: flat bed, model 898465b 3-wheel on-road vehicles. a hub washer was improperly manufactured and could deform when the hardware securing the hub is tightened.

Corrective Action

this could allow the axle nut to loosen, resulting in oil leaking out of the splines of the axle and/or axle failure.

Recall Notes

dealers will replace the hub washer.

vehicle description: 3-wheel on-road vehicles, models 898464b, 898465a, 898474b, 898474c, 898475a and 898484. the door latch can release unexpectedly.

Corrective Action

the door latch releasing unexpectedly can increase the risk of a vehicle accident or personal injury to the vehicle occupant.

Recall Notes

dealers will replace these door latches with a newly designed door latch.

dealers will install a new clamp designed with a positive potitioning locator. the line will be rerouted and a new protector sleeve installed.

on the involved vehicles, a substandard weld may exist in the area which joins the inner and outer wheel rim together. if the weld were to fail during re-inflation of the tire, the rim halves could separate.
