Consequence of Defect

certain dorel juvenile group child restraint systems manufactured from october 1 through december 31, 2005. there is a potential for a child to have his/her finger stuck in the square hole located on the left armrest.

Corrective Action

a small child could put a finger or thumb in the hole and may not be able to pull it free on their own.

Recall Notes

dorel will notify registered owners and provide a free repair kit. this is expected to begin on may 22, 2007. owners can contact dorel at 1-877-639-0659, monday through friday 8am to 4:30pm est or visit their website at www.djgusa.com.
