Consequence of Defect

the involved jack bracket assemblies were improperly manufactured. these units were supplied with a six-inch diameter plate-type foot of new design, instead of the folding tripod bottom type assembly. the plate-type foot permits the jack to move or creep while supporting the camper. this could cause the jack assembly to collapse.

Consequence of Defect

the involved furnaces contain an electrical transformer, which is a component part of a furnace electrical power converter, that may overheat and fail. this failure can cause the transformer insulation to vaporize. this vapor may ignite and be expelled from the converter enclosure.
