Consequence of Defect

the brake pedal push rod can disengage from the brake booster.

Corrective Action

if the brake pedal push rod disengages from the brakebooster, it will result in the loss of service brakes.

Recall Notes

dealers will inspect for proper brake pedal travel and install a brake pedal return stop to prevent possible push rod disengagement.
