Consequence of Defect

wiring of the tell-tale module, located in the rear gate unlock-unlatch mechanism, causes the rear brakes to be applied and the rear gate to unlatch when the instrument panel push-to-test light is pressed.

Corrective Action

when the rear brakes are applied unexpectedly with thevehicle in motion, standing passengers in the bus are exposed to increase riskof injury because of the sudden stop.

Recall Notes

install the redesigned tell-tale module.

the power steering pump is improperly calibrated and has insufficient power steering fluid flow for the operation of the steering system.

Corrective Action
