Consequence of Defect

equipment description: mufflers part nos. 65396-96y and 91424-99y used on pro series race systems which can be installed on 1996 through 2000 model buell motorcycles. these mufflers were manufactured with an end cap that can break.

Corrective Action

if this end cap should break, the muffler could drag on the ground, which may adversely affect the handling and could cause an accident.

Recall Notes

buell will notify its customers to return their vehicles to the nearest dealers for inspection and correction free of charge.
